All salary data is sourced from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics (OEWS) survey, 2025 estimates. The OEWS survey covers approximately 1.1 million establishments nationwide.
Percentile data shows the salary distribution: the 10th percentile means 10% of workers earn less, while the 90th percentile means only 10% earn more. The median (50th percentile) represents the middle of the distribution.
Tax calculations use 2025 federal income tax brackets (IRS), state income tax rates for all 50 states + DC, and FICA (Social Security + Medicare). Figures assume a single filer with the standard deduction.
